A truly great adventure into Mayan history and culture.

We start our day early to beat the heat and to avoid the crowds in the archaeological site of Ek’ Balam (Black jaguar) the capital of the ancient talol kingdom, one of the most important in the prehispanic mayan region. Dating from 100 BC to its hight at 700-1200 BC. It is a unique, interesting and lesser-known mayan ruin zone with impressive structures surrounded by dense jungle located in the centre of Mexico’s yucatan peninsula.

After that, experience the peacefulness of nature riding a bike to X’ canché, a fresh water cenote where you will have an amazing time zip lining and rappeling into this wonderful natural well. A typical delicious lunch will take place in front of the cenote, with a spectacular view while enjoying the traditional yucatecan cuisine.

On the way back, Valladolid will be the perfect rest stop to learn about the culture and history of yucatan. Free time to take pictures and admire the tranquil atmosphere of the colonial town.

Convenient expedition to explore and discover!
